Report of Gunshots Leads to Arrest in Clarendon Hills

Fireworks Noise Results in Warrant Arrest
Arturo J. Sosa-Lopez, 21, of the 200 block of North Richmond Avenue, Clarendon Hills, was charged with violating his probation after he was picked up on an outstanding arrest warrant, police said, when Clarendon Hills officers responded to a 12:16 a.m. report of gunfire in a parking lot in the 200 block of North Richmond and found Sosa-Lopez and two other males in the lot with fireworks that had caused the noise.
Sosa-Lopez had violated his probation on an armed robbery conviction out of Cook County, police said. The two other males were not charged with any offenses.
SATURDAY, OCT. 26
Suspended License
Michael J. Echevarria, 35, of the 500 block of North Maggie Lane, Romeoville, was charged with driving with a suspended license and without insurance after a 10:28 a.m. traffic stop near the intersection of Route 83 and 55th Street, police said.
Echevarria's vehicle was impounded and he was released to appear in court.
