Sleeping Driver Charged With DUI

Anageli Tochimani, 23, of the 1500 block of West June Way Terrace, Chicago, was charged with DUI, police said, after she was observed to be under the influence of alcohol when police came upon her at 4:23 a.m., asleep behind the wheel of a running vehicle parked next to a “No Parking” sign and fire hydrant in the 800 block of North Oak Street.

Tochimani failed an ensuing breath test. She was released to appear in court.

FRIDAY, OCT. 18

Tire Slashed

An unknown person slashed the tire of a car parked in a driveway of a home in the 700 block of Chestnut Street between 6 p.m. Oct. 17 and 10 a.m. Oct. 18., police said.

TUESDAY, OCT. 15

Another Tire Slashed

An unknown person slashed the tire of a car parked in the driveway of a home in the 900 block of South Stough Street between 3 p.m. Oct. 12 and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 14, police said.

The case is currently pending.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 9

Fight Reported at Hinsdale Central

Two female Hinsdale Central students were charged with local ordinance violations, police said, after they were observed fighting in a food line at the school at 7:47 a.m.

Both of the students are 16-year-old juveniles. One is from Hinsdale and the other is from Clarendon Hills.
