$4,700 Wristwatch Missing from Hinsdale Home

Drugs Gone Missing

Prescription medications were reported missing from a nurse’s medication cart at HCR ManorCare, 600 W. Ogden Ave., police said.

The missing medications, which police said were discovered during an inventory check, are believed to have been taken between 10 p.m. Oct. 19 and 7 a.m. Oct. 20.

Theft of Pricey Watch Reported 

A wristwatch valued at $4,741 was discovered missing from a home in the 5700 block of South Grant Street over the weekend of Oct. 12 and Oct. 13, Deputy Chief Mark Wodka said.

Wodka said a specific timeframe on when the theft might have occurred is not known, but the homeowner said workers had been inside the house on Oct. 10. The case is currently pending.

MONDAY, OCT. 14

Fraudulent Mortgage Applied For

An unknown person used the identity of a resident from the 400 block of Skipping Stone Lane to make purchases online and apply for a mortgage between 7 a.m. Oct. 1 and 4 p.m. Oct. 14, police said.
