Teen Finds Older Man in Her Apartment

An 18-year-old female was in her bedroom at Clarendon Arms Apartments on 58th Street when she heard someone enter the front door at 1:48 p.m. She thought it was her mother, who also lives there, and went out to see. 

The teen found a man she did not know. He left the scene without incident once she encountered him, according to police.

She described him as a white male, with blond hair and a blond beard, between 30 and 40 years old. Police did not find anyone matching the description. 

The man was able to enter the apartment because the front door was unlocked, according to police. The incident is under investigation.

Driving Without a License

Laquita Falkner, 33, of the 300 block of West 60th Street, Westmont, was charged with driving without a license. Police initially stopped Falkner at 9:36 a.m. on Route 83 northbound at 55th Street for an expired registration sticker, according to police. She was arrested and was released on I-bond.

Party Busted, Man Charged

Adam Rosinski, 20, of the 7700 block of Fox Street, Woodridge, was charged with the local underage drinking ordinance after police stumbled upon an underage drinking party.

An officer on patrol in his car saw a male lurking around some parked vehicles at 4:25 a.m. near the 200 block of North Richmond Avenue, according to a report. The male took off running when the officer stopped. 

The officer stepped out to investigate and noticed several empty beer cans lying on the ground. He discovered an underage drinking party on the block with partygoers outdoors, the report said.

As the officer and assisting officers tried to make contact with the other teens at the party, they ran inside the house and slammed the door. The owner of the home allowed police to speak with the teens inside, who were in the basement. Police located a highly intoxicated male, later identified as Rosinski. He was arrested, charged and returned home via a cab.

Police saw "multiple teens" at the residence for what appeared to be a graduation party, the report said, but it did not include a headcount. No one was else was charged with the drinking ordinance during the incident.

SATURDAY, JUNE 1

Police Find Teen Unresponsive After Drinking

A 16-year-old Clarendon Hills girl was taken to the hospital after police said she was unresponsive during a traffic stop due to alcohol consumption. The girl was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped at 5:01 a.m. at Ogden Avenue and Stonegate.

The male driver from Oak Brook and a second female passenger from Berwyn, both 17, were taken to the Clarendon Hills Police Department. They were charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. The driver was also charged with possession of cannabis less than 30 grams.

The teens were all released to their parents, police said.
