Resident Tracks Her Stolen iPhone
A woman lost her iPhone at either the Clarendon Hills Jewel at 9:40 p.m. on the 300 block of Holmes Avenue or the Willowbrook Dominick's at 10:10 p.m. She used the "Where's My iPhone" App after getting home from Dominick's, and it showed a location on McArthur in Willowbrook at 10:20 p.m. Then it gave her a location somewhere on Wolf Road.
The woman said she never took her phone out of her pocket at the Clarendon Hills Jewel. Police told the woman to contact Apple Care to try and get the specific location of her phone. The phone is valued at over $500, police said.

Please Find the Park Drinker
Someone with the Clarendon Hills Park District at 7:29 a.m. requested an extra patrol at Prospect Park. The employee said there is a person that drinks in the park overnight between the two ponds, according to police.
Flying Beer Can Alert
A male driver wanted to let police know at 1:59 a.m. that his van roof was struck by a wet metal object on Route 83 south of 56th Street and north of Knollwood. The object caused a scratch on his roof. The driver just wanted to make sure nobody else hit whatever it was, police said. The officer searched southbound Route 83 from 55th Street to Knollwood and found a dented Busch beer can with fresh beer spilled around it in the area the driver said he was hit.
