The Hinsdale Police Department responded to the following reports and made the following arrests in recent days:
Disorderly Conduct
Police are investigating a report from a district 181 staff member who said an unknown suspect opened a Facebook account using her deceased family member’s information and sent her messages. The incident occurred at Hinsdale Middle School, 100 S. Garfield, between 11 a.m. on Jan. 25 and 4 a.m. on Feb. 3.

Theft Under
Hinsdale Police are investigating a report by a resident living in the 10 block of South Monroe Street regarding two UPS packages being taken from her porch between 5:14 p.m. and 5:40 p.m. on Jan. 24. The packages were valued at $265.30.
Domestic Battery
Police arrested Sebastien C. Dufort, 45 in the 10 block of E. Fifth St. at 8 p.m. on Jan. 28 on two counts of domestic battery. Police said the man made contact of an insulting or provoking nature. He was charged and transported to DuPage County Jail.
Criminal Damage to Vehicle
Police are investigating a report of criminal damage to property that occurred on Jan. 30 between 4:10 and 4:14 p.m. in the Whole Foods parking lot. A witness observed a suspect scratch the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of Whole Foods, 500 E. Ogden Ave.
