Hinsdale Academy Administrator Gets Threatening E-mail: Police Blotter

Hinsdale police reports, July 18-25.

THURSDAY, JULY 25

Criminal Damage to Property

A resident reported damage to the front of his house from what appeared to be a firework. The incident occurred sometime between 9 p.m. July 23 and 5:59 p.m. July 25 on the 800 block of Bittersweet Lane, police said. There was also damage to the door frame estimated at $100. A case is pending.


THURSDAY, JULY 18

E-mail Alarms Administrator 

An unknown suspect sent an e-mail that was threatening and alarming to a school administrator at Hinsdale Adventist Academy on the 600 block of East Hickory, police said. The incident was reported at 6:29 p.m. and a case is pending.
