TUESDAY, OCT. 1
Driving Without A License
Javier Lopez-Robeles, 41, of the 4800 block of South Kildare, Chicago, was charged with driving without a license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police pulled over Lopez-Robeles at 4:20 p.m. on southbound Route 83 near Chicago Avenue. The car had to be towed, according to police. Lopez-Robeles was booked and later released on I-bond.

Suspended Registration
Adrienne Dontes-Kirsch, 44, of the 5600 block of Alabama, Clarendon Hills, was charged with operating a vehicle with suspended registration. Police pulled over Dontes-Kirsch at 4:12 p.m. at Monroe and 55th Street. She was given an I-bond and released at the scene.

Empty (Text) Threats
A resident at 4:55 p.m. on the 100 block of Oxford Avenue reported getting harassing texts. The officer found that many people have been getting similar texts from the same number as the one involved in this incident. The threats were not directed at the resident. The officer attempted to contact the number, but no one answered.
