$5,400 in Silverware Stolen From Hinsdale House
There were 75 pieces stolen sometime during a 10-month period in 2013, police said.
Seventy-five pieces of silverware worth a combined $5,400 were stolen from a Hinsdale home in the 600 block of North Grant Street between February 2013 and Dec. 25, 2013, according to police.
No forced entry was made to the home during the above stretch. Police said the victim believes the pieces were taken by a person or persons who had authorized access, though no known suspects were mentioned by police.
"The victim has provided name of persons that had access in the home, but there is no evidence yet to suggest a suspect," deputy chief Mark Wodka said in an email.
The case is currently pending.
