3 Drug-Related Charges, DUI Reported: Police Blotter

SUNDAY, MAY 26 

Screaming Man Found With Pipe


Clayton P. Lowell, 21, of the 700 block of North La Grange Road, La Grange Park, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said, after a glass pipe was found in a car that Lowell was a passenger in by officers responding to a report of Lowell and another person screaming at one another outside the vehicle while it was parked in the 100 block of East Ravine Road at 10:20 p.m.

Lowell was released to appear in court.

SATURDAY, MAY 25

DUI


Francisco Orozco-Velazquez, 33, of the 4000 block of South Artesian Avenue, Chicago, was charged with DUI, police said, after he was observed to be under the influence during an improper lane use stop in the 500 block of East 55th Street at 12:13 a.m. and refused a breath test.

Orozco-Velazquez also had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle and was driving on a suspended license. He was charged with DUI, improper lane use, illegal transportation of alcohol, and driving while license suspended. He was released to appear in court.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 22   

Woman Charged With Possession 


Katherine A. Deinart, 23, of the 400 block of Chicago Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged with possession of cannabis after police say they she was inside a suspicious vehicle parked in the 500 block of Mills Street at 2:43 a.m. and was found to be in possession of the substance that tested positive for marijuana.   

She was released to appear in court. 

Drunk Pedestrian Found With Pot


Jacob Thomas Ludwig, 23, of the 5500 block of Tennessee Ave., Clarendon Hills, was charged with possession of cannabis, police said, after he was found to have the drug when officers stopped him while he was walking, seemingly intoxicated, along the side of the 600 block of West 55th Street at 7:15 p.m.

Ludwig was released to appear in court.
