40-Year-Old Mustache Targeted by Hinsdale FD's 'Movember' Fundraiser
Assistant chief Tim McElroy says he'll shave off his mustache if his crew can raise $5,000.
The well-aged mustache of Tim McElroy is on notice.
The Hinsdale Fire Department assistant chief will shave off his 40-year-old crumb-catcher if his crew can collect $5,000 in its "Movember" fundraiser this month, he told ABC 7 news in a segment that aired Tuesday morning.
The rest of the crew are growing mustaches all month as they collect money to benefit prostate and testicular cancer research. They told ABC 7 the last day to donate is Thanksgiving.
Currently, according to the Hinsdale Firefighters Association Movember team page, they've raised $2,406.
So if you want to see a clean-shaven McElroy any time soon, you need to donate!
