Hinsdale Speed & Strength Club at The Community House

The Hinsdale Speed and Strength Club will focus on increasing the young athletes strength, speed, and agility. The class will include a dynamic warm up, form running mechanics, speed training, agility drills, plyometric exercises, and body weight strengthening exercises. By promoting physical fitness and proven exercise technique, members of the HSSC will assist all types of athletes improve for their next season.  

Day: Sundays
Dates: January 26 – March 23
Time: 5:30 pm – 6:30pm

About the Instructor: Craig Kruse, PT, competed as team captain in both football and track at Augustana College. His senior year he was an Academic All-American in football and an All-American in the shot put in track. After graduating from Augustana, he attended Eastern Illinois University and obtained a Master's degree in Physical Education with a concentration in exercise physiology. He also served as a strength and conditioning coach for the EIU baseball team. He went on to obtain a Master's degree in physical therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Currently, Craig is a physical therapist for Midwest Physical Therapy Center. For the past 12 years, he has served as the Director of Therapy Operations for the company.  Craig is also actively involved in the Hinsdale area youth sports. He is an assistant coach for both the Falcons Football program and the Hinsdale Falcon Wrestling Club.
