Free Zumba Class at the Clarendon Hills Park District

The Clarendon Hills Park District will present a free Zumba class to adults ages 18 years of age and older between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Thursday, January 16 at the Community Center.  Popular instructor Maria Ruby will lead the group in an interval training session where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt the body while burning fat.  Add some Latin and international music into the mix and you've got Zumba.  Advance registration at the Community Center is required to participate in this complimentary class.  Participants interested in registering for the winter session of Zumba are encouraged to register for classes which meet between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings, Jan. 23-Feb. 27, also at the Community Center.  A Sunday morning early bird Zumba class is also available between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., Jan. 26-March 2. There is a $45.00 resident fee ($57.00 non-residents) to participate in either one of these programs.  Please register at 315 E. Chicago Avenue, Clarendon Hills.
