Babysitter Training at the Clarendon Hills Park District

Calling all current and future babysitters!  The Clarendon Hills Park District will present its American Red Cross Babysitter Training class between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday, January 20 at the Community Center. Designed for tweens and teens ages 11-15, this class covers home safety; infant and child care and development; basic first aid; handling emergencies; communicating with parents; leadership skills; and building a babysitting business.  All participants will receive a workbook, CD-ROM, emergency guide, and an American Red Cross Babysitting Certificate.  There is a $75.00 resident fee 
($94.00 non-resident) to participate in this program.  Please register in advance at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue.  All babysitters are asked to bring a bag lunch and beverage!
