Pharmacy Open Through Mariano's Transition
Roundy's said the pharmacies at the 11 Dominick's locations being converted to Mariano's will remain open in a press release.
Saturday is the last day you can buy any remaining grocery items at Dominick's in Western Springs, but the store's pharmacy will remain open as the store is prepped to become a Mariano's Fresh Market in the coming months, according to a release posted on the Roundy's website.
"I want to assure our customers that there will be uninterrupted access to the pharmacies during the transition period," Roundy's CEO Robert Mariano said in the release of the 11 Dominick's purchased by his company. "While the stores are being cleaned and upgraded, the pharmacies will be operated on a continuous basis. There will be informational signage posted at each location as well as a concierge at the entrance of each store to direct customers to the pharmacy location."
Roundy's is the parent company of Mariano's.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the Western Springs Dominick's will be cleaned after closing its grocery operation Saturday and turned over to Roundy's on Jan. 25. Customers can expect it to open within 30 to 45 days after that.
