Born in Chicago, Illinios has lived in Winnetka for 35+ years.  Graduated from Villanova University with a B.A in Political Science.  Received an M.B.A from Loyola University Chicago.  Plays golf as long as it is possible to do so in shorts.  Loves baseball, despite being a lifelong Cub fan.  REalizes that sports have become big business and dislikes that aspect and tries to focus sportswriting on the human interest stories.
