No, you're wrong, but no one can convince you of that since you know all commenters (as opposed to bloggers) are liars, puppets, blind, or all three, using fake handles who have personal axes to grind. So unlike you, huh? . You, much like the Board back in '07, have done little or no "larnin'" on Mr Deetjen's background. Go ahead, check it out. And remember, there ain't been a leopard alive whose spots have changed. I'm sorry that you sided with Mr Streit for years, gave or funneled some money to Mr Brennan for a cause and then were jilted. That's life in public service!

The Patch and Lorraine could have gone knee-jerk and thrown the list and now-dormant website out there, and looked foolish in the process. She did some due diligence (which is rare in this town). I think it's useless to ask Mr Phelan questions because he's Joe Q Public now. As far as masking addresses, what she blacked all those out and presented the document? How many people would have criticized her for altering the PDF, and shouting BIAS or PHONY? I think the only person who needs to address this is Mayor Bury, and, like her response or not, she has done so.

If you don't care, don't post. Not a hit list in that it has pictures of people with targets on them. But the semantics say "get rid of the opposition". Mayor Bury really has to address the document head on, considering that its author is an outgoing Village official who has several axes to grind with Mr Heilmann and those allied to him.

The racism thing was an incident at an airport involving a traffic cop there. That was small potatoes compared to other shenanigans he was allegedly involved in with the then mayor and members of their board. He was suspended for a time for misconduct. He was wise to look for another gig, and got the OL job. Now, I'll qualify this: he's done some good things for this village. (Working with Mr Streit on many of them, btw.) But he's worked in sneaky ways, and I am always amazed when trustees sing his praises.

Funny only in that the former mayor is expertly filing continuations and requests for dismissal. He's yet to go to trial. When that happens, your hallowed light of the sun shall shine down South in Florida. If you think he's done well here you must have bought Mr Streit's accomplishments, as they were tied at the hip for so long.
