Ingrid Durham, Neighbor

Ingrid was born, raised and schooled in Chicago, IL. She has lived in Oakbrook Terrace for 30 years and has been an alderman there for the past nine years. Ingrid has a diverse background with a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering Technology from Devry Institute of Technology and a Pastry Arts Certificate from COD. Writing and reporting have always been interests, starting back in grammar school. Her writing was first noticed when she authored the "Sights and Sounds" column for the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce in the mid 90's. In 2004 she wrote for the Villa Park Independent Newspaper.

When she isn't writing, Ingrid is a sustitute teacher and is involved in community theater.
