How about the old fashioned way? If they don't eat what's put in front of them, they get nothing until the next meal. Then watch them gobble up what's in front of them. Teach them to respect the food and the preparer of the meal. As a child, I was not given a choice but to eat what was in front of me whether I liked it or not.
