MONDAY, MAY 6 A man at 6:37 p.m. on the 200 block of North Richmond Avenue said his rear truck window was opened but he didn't know how it got that way. The man was intoxicated and did not provide an officer with any valid information about the circumstance, according to police. The officer told the man to call if there were any further details. FRIDAY, MAY 3 A school at 9 a.m. asked police to check the well-being of a girl who did not come to class or was called in sick. Police located the girl at her home on Woodstock Avenue. She said she had overslept, according to a police report. An officer had her collect herself, gather her things and transported her to school. THURSDAY, APRIL 25 An unknown person at 7:47 p.m. banged on the door of a home on the 500 block of Willowcreek Court. The person said they were going to change the locks on the home, according to a neighbor. The homeowner, who was away at the time of the incident, said she is in good financial standing for the home. Police will follow up with the neighbor for a description when he or she is available. An officer told the owner to call police right away if the person is seen again. Police responded to two solicitor complaints related to the same company. The first was at 3:35 p.m. on the first block of Chestnut Avenue. $9,000 Silverware Theft, Loud Neighbor: Police Blotter

Clarendon Hills police reports, April 1

MONDAY, APRIL 1 A resident at 8:09 p.m. who wished to remain anonymous to dispatch reported an ongoing problem with a loud TV on the 5700 block of Concord Lane. The officer spoke with the male tenant with the loud TV, who said the volume had just been turned down. The officer advised the person that future action would be taken if the noise continues. The tenant said he would keep the volume down. Someone took a 91-piece silverware set from a home on the 300 block of Western Avenue. The resident, who reported the incident at 10:51 a.m., said the theft occurred sometime between Thanksgiving 2012 and April 1, 2013. The set is valued at $9,000. The resident did not request follow up. There are workers in the home and it is currently on the …

FRIDAY, MARCH 29 An officer was dispatched at 3:48 a.m. to a complaint of four males throwing beer bottles in front of a building on the 5700 block of Concord Lane.  The officer found the broken bottles in the grass next to the southbound Route 83 roadway. The officer searched the area and eventually found bottles, loud talking and other noise coming from an apartment on the 5400 block of Concord. The tenants refused to answer the door. The police department will follow up on the incident. THURSDAY, MARCH 28 A woman at 8:09 p.m. said there was someone at her door on the 200 block of Jackson Road.
