FRIDAY, APRIL 26 Frank R. Sasek, 21, of the 5500 block of Harvey Avenue, LaGrange, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol over .08, and improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Police at 11:38 p.m. stopped Sasek at 55th Street and Grant for improper lane usage. He was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted a breath test over .08., police said. Sasek was charged and released. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24 James T. Vanek, 19, of the 300 block of Forest Road, Hinsdale, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment. TUESDAY, JAN. 22 A driver hit and caused minor damage to a utility pole in the 300 block of Harris Avenue, police said. The incident was reported at 8:14 a.m. MONDAY, JAN. 21 A UPS package delivered to a resident in the 0-10 block of Walker Avenue was stolen while it sat in the entry way of the home on Jan. 4, police said. The package contained a $150 car tail light. SATURDAY, JAN. 19 Charges are pending against a 17-year-old Hinsdale boy who was found to be in possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop for improper lane usage on Route 83 near Chicago Avenue at 1:25 a.m., police said. THURSDAY, NOV. 22 A 17-year-old male from Hinsdale was charged with possession of cannabis and several other offenses after he was spotted in Highland Park on Nov. 22 at 12:08 a.m., after the park had closed, and fled from an officer who approached him, police said. The juvenile was located shortly after and taken into custody. Police said he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was in possession of chewing tobacco and a substance that tested positive for cannabis. He was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of tobacco, resisting/obstructing an officer, violation of park hours and unlawful use of alcohol. He was released to a parent. Clarendon Hills police reports, Nov. 15-20
TUESDAY, NOV. 20 Thomas Lagor, 23, of the 700 block of West Wilson Lane, Hinsdale, was cited with a local ordinance violation for possession of cannabis after the smell of burnt cannabis was detected in his vehicle during a speeding stop near the intersection of 55th Street and Clarendon Hills Road at 10:17 p.m., and police said the drug was found in his possession. Police said Lagor was charged with speeding, as well. He was released to appear in court. MONDAY, NOV. 19 Six wooden posts worth an estimated $600 were taken from the Clarendon Hills Lions Club property in the 100 block of Byrd Court sometime during the weekend of Nov. 16 to Nov. 18, police said.
