Teen Found With Stolen GPS Devices, Employee's Wallet Goes Missing: Police Blotter
Hinsdale police reports, Sept. 18-24.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 22 An unknown thief stole the cash-filled wallet of an employee of Manor Care Hinsdale, 600 W. Ogden Ave., between 4 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., a timeframe during which the employee was working. Police say the wallet contained $545 and was located at the time of the theft in an area of the building where Manor Care employees keep their personal belongings. At this time, police have no suspects, and the case is pending investigation. TUESDAY, SEPT. 18 A 17-year-old male juvenile from Darien was charged with possession of stolen property and several other offenses after he was found to have two stolen GPS devices in his car during a traffic stop in the 5700 block of south Madison Street at 10:35 p.m., police said.
