Police say the suspect had a prior conviction for possession.
Milan N. Crnovich, 18, of 530 North Grant Street in Hinsdale was arrested for heroin possession around 6:48 p.m. on April 11. Someone saw a man slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle parked on the 100 Block of West Glendale Avenue and called the police. At first, Crnovich was unresponsive when officers arrived on the scene. At that time, they saw a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance sitting on his lap. The powder later field tested positive as heroin. Police say they found two bags in his possession. Crnovich was transported to Adventist Hinsdale Hospital for treatment at his request for issues not related to his arrest. On Dec. 10 at 9:07 a.m., David Armistead, 37, of 6191 S. Countyline Road in Hinsdale was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. A Hinsdale Police officer made contact with him on the 900 Block of S. Madison Street. After running a name check on Armistead, the officer learned that there were two outstanding warrants out on him for failing to appear on traffic charges. One was from Darien, and the other was from Kane County. Concrete used to smash windshield and door.
Criminal damage to state supported property - Sometime between 3:30 p.m. Sept. 20 and 7 a.m. Sept. 21, someone used landscaping concrete to smash the sidedoor and windshield of a Hinsdale Community Development vehicle. It happened a the Hinsdale public works building at 225 Symonds Drive. There was no value of damage given at the time the crime was reported on Sept. 21. Possession of Cannabis - Edward M. LaGrassa, 42, of 2220 Country Club Drive in Woodridge, was arrested at 12:46 a.m. on Sept. 22 for speeding, driving without a drivers license on him, possession of marijuana, possession of drug equipment and depositing unsafe material on the highway.
