Three Transported to Hospital After Tri-State Accident Near Hinsdale Oasis
A minivan with rear damage was on the right shoulder of northbound I-294 just north of the Hinsdale Oasis.
Updated at 3:10 p.m. Three patients have been transported to Adventist Hinsdale Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a semi-trailer truck rear-ended their minivan underneath the Hinsdale Oasis on the Tri-State Tollway Monday afternoon, according to Hinsdale Fire Department spokesman Steve Tullis. Tullis said the Hinsdale Fire Department got a call at 1:45 p.m. reporting an accident near the Hinsdale Oasis on northbound I-294. "We got there and quickly assessed that a semi [truck] rear-ended a minivan with three people inside at low rate of speed," Tullis said.
