Home Rule Demonstration
Clarendon Hills residents opposed to home rule will meet 9am Saturday morning downtown on the west side of prospect. It will be their way of demonstrating opposition to the reckless home rule proposal that will be on the ballot Tuesday. Why are they against it? Taxes. We need to spend more time controlling expenses and less time figuring out new ways to raise taxes. Many good people who care about the future of Clarendon Hills have come together because of home rule and that is a good thing.
