The 24th Illinois Senate District
The 24th Illinois Senate District is one of 59 districts in the state. It is currently represented by Kirk Dillard (R-Hinsdale) and covers parts of Elmhurst, Western Springs, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Westmont, Oak Brook, Oakbrook Terrace, Lombard, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton and Lisle.
In 2012, incumbent Kirk Dillard beat Chris Nybo in the Republican primary and will take on A. Ghani, the lone Democrat who filed to run in the district.
