<p>Walking into the Hinsdale Humane Society feels different from walking into other animal shelters. The place is immaculate, with classical music is playing in the background, and there are no animal odors. The Hinsdale Humane Society has been in existence since the mid-1950s and was the first humane society in DuPage County. Its claim to fame is that it was the home of "Morris the Cat," of commercial fame. The Humane Society offers obedience classes and behavioral training as well as adoption services. Its motto says it all: "Celebrating pets and the people who love them!"</p>
