Dancin' in the Street Lineup Released, Patch Among Sponsors

The annual Wednesday-night summer concert series will run from June 20 to July 24.

The Village of Clarendon Hills and Fifth Third Bank have released the schedule and lineup for the 2013 edition of the village's Dancin’ in the Street concert series.

The concert series will run Wednesdays for six weeks beginning June 19 and ending July 24. Food will be provided by local restaurants each week, including Village Gourmet, The Hills Cafe, Talley’s Kitchen + Bar, Scapa, The Daily Scoop, and Aguamiel.

The beverage tent will serve beer and wine, with wine provided by All Wined Up.

“Dancin’ in the Street is a place where residents of all ages come out to enjoy the summer nights,” Special Events Committee Chairwoman Renee Kirin said. “Plus, it is a great opportunity to show people the many great businesses in downtown Clarendon Hills.”

Mike McCurry of Coldwell Banker will serve as stage sponsor for the concert series, while Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills Patch and Village Veterinary Practice provide support along with Oak Brook Racquet and Fitness Club; Bath Planet; Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins; and Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd.

All Wined Up, Creative Cuvee and Republic Services also support the concert series.

As with prior years, Prospect Avenue from Park Avenue to the BNSF railroad will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Parking is available in the Metra commuter parking lot at the corners of Prospect Avenue and Ann Street.
