Girls Golf: Hinsdale Central Medals at State Tournament
The Red Devils finished third overall over the weekend behind Mount Prospect and Loyola Academy.
Hinsdale Central freshman Selina Zeng and senior Cailee Beisswanger shot two-day scores of 157 as the Red Devils girls golf team finished third at last weekend's state tournament in Bloomington.
The Red Devils' total team score of 637 was 25 shots behind first-place finishing Mount Prospect and 15 shots behind second-place Loyola Academy.
The tournament was played at Decatur's Hickory Point Golf Club.
Senior Zoe Wong shot a combined 164 for Hinsdale Central, freshman Jessica Lee tallied a 167 and senior Madelynn Swank a 169. Junior Danielle Smith and sophomore Erin Bruns each golfed one round.
