The Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool has extended the deadline for discounted early bird pool pass sales for the 2012 aquatics season.  Early bird pool passes will remain on sale at the Community Center, 315 Chicago Avenue, until 5 p.m. on Friday, June 8. Regular business hours at the Community Center are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, with limited evening hours dependent upon recreation scheduling.  Pool passes will also be sold at the Lions Park Pool, 100 Byrd Court, between 3:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., June 5-June 8.  All passes purchased at the pool must be paid for with either cash or a check.  A regular early bird family pass will sell for $265.00 to residents of Clarendon Hills through June 8.  An early bird family plus pass for residents of Clarendon Hills will sell for $305.00 through the end of the week.  This pass includes a traditional family pass plus 10 daily guest admissions for relatives and friends visiting the Lions Park Pool with a pass holder.

An individual season pass is available for $135.00 to residents of Clarendon Hills at the early bird rate, while an early bird senior pass for residents of Clarendon Hills (age 60 and better) is currently selling for $60.00

A summer tradition in Clarendon Hills, the Lions Park Pool features a water slide, six lap lanes, a baby pool, comfortable deck furniture, a sand volleyball court and sand play area, and a concessions stand featuring healthy food and snacks.  To celebrate the beginning of the 2012 aquatics season, the Clarendon Hills Park District recently installed a new water play feature for younger children in the zero depth entry area of the pool.  This colorful structure features a gazebo, stairs leading to a child-sized water slide, as well as several spray features which shoot cool, refreshing water on hot summer days.
