Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool to Open May 28

The Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool, 100 Byrd Court, will officially open for the 2011 season on Saturday, May 28.  A summer tradition in Clarendon Hills, the Lions Park Pool features a water slide, a zero depth pool and baby pool for younger children, six lap lanes, a sand volleyball court and sand play area, and a concessions stand featuring healthy food and snacks.

Pool passes will be sold at Lions Park when the aquatics facility opens later this week; cash or checks are required for on-site purchases.  Pool patrons wishing to purchase a pass with a credit card are welcome to stop by the Community Center, 315 Chicago Avenue, to register for summer aquatics programs.

The early bird discount rate for summer pool passes will be in effect through Tuesday, May 31.  An early bird family pass for residents of Clarendon Hills is $265.00 through the end of the month.  The family plus pass at the early bird rate is $305.00 for residents of Clarendon Hills and includes the traditional family pass plus 10 daily guest passes for visiting relatives and friends.  Many season pass holders also purchase the Super Pass for an additional $50.00 per person.  This pass allows swimmers to enjoy both the Lions Park Pool and the Hinsdale Community Swimming Pool all summer long.  For more information about summer aquatics programs at the Clarendon Hills Park District, please call 630-323-2626 or visit www.clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org
