The Clarendon Hills Park District's annual summer fishing derby will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 21 at the Prospect Park Pond. Grab your pole and head over to the pond for a fun, family-friendly event.
The pond will be stocked the week of the derby with farm-raised catfish and bass. Trophies will be awarded for the longest fish caught in every age group. This is a catch-and-release event; a two pole limit will be in effect for the day.
Registration will be accepted on the morning of the derby at the Earth-N-Bridge.
