The Clarendon Hills Park District's "Afterschool Sports and Nutrition" program for boys and girls in grades 4-5 will meet from 3:10 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. on Thursday afternoons at Prospect School, Sept. 20-Oct. 11. This is a wonderful way for young athletes to enjoy basketball, soccer, floor hockey, tumbling, and playground games with friends from school and the greater community. The last 15 minutes of each class session will include a presentation by Clarendon Hills resident and registered dietitian Kelly Sierra, who will discuss healthy nutrition and food choices for fitness! Cost of this program is $50.00 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $63.00 for children living in nearby communities. Advance registration at the Community Center, 315 Chicago Avenue, is required.
