PREVIEW: Central, South to Face Off Friday in Rivalry Game

The two teams enter with identical records after big wins in Week 5.

The Red Devils are coming off Saturday. Junior quarterback Brian Owens threw for 312 yards against the Lions at Dickinson Field. The win put Hinsdale Central back above .500 after back-to-back losses to Proviso West and Glenbard West in Weeks 3 and 4.

The Hornets are also looking for their second straight win after putting up big numbers in Sept. 23. Senior fullback Keontae Hall had 26 carries for 212 yards and two touchdowns while quarterback D.J. Deolitsis threw for three scores and ran for three. The win came after a 21-0 loss to Addison Trail Sept. 16.
