Football: 2013 Hinsdale Central Schedule Released
The Red Devils will open at home against Bolingbrook on Aug. 30 and will have a Homecoming rivalry game against Lyons Township on Oct. 5.
It's getting to be that time of year again.
The IHSA has released Hinsdale Central's 2013 football schedule, and it begins Aug. 30 with a home non-conference game against Bolingbrook, a team that finished 8-3 last year after going 12-1 and winning the 8A state title in 2011.
Other notable games include a West Suburban Silver conference opener at York on Sept. 13, an away game against perennial powerhouse and defending 7A state champion Glenbard West on Sept. 28, and a Homecoming rivalry game against Lyons Township on Oct. 5.
The Red Devils went 7-2 last year in the regular season before falling to Oak Park-River Forest in the first round of the 8A playoffs.

- Sept. 6 vs. Addison Trail (2-7)—7:30 p.m.
- Sept. 13 at York (0-9)—7:30 p.m.
- Sept. 20 vs. Proviso West (6-4)—7:30 p.m.
- Sept. 28 at Glenbard West (14-0)—1:30 p.m.
- Oct. 5 vs. Lyons Township (7-5)—12 p.m.
- Oct. 11 at Hinsdale South (6-4)—7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 18 at Oak Park-River Forest (7-4)—7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 25 vs. Downers Grove North (7-5)—7:30 p.m.
