Teens Arrested for Fighting in School Hallway

Another boy received a citation earlier this month after Hinsdale Central school officials said he was truant.

Two Hinsdale Central students were arrested last week for fighting in the school's hallway, according to a Hinsdale Police Department report.

The fight broke out around 1:14 p.m. at Hinsdale Central High School, 5500 S. Grant St., and involved a 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl.

Both were issued a local ordinance citation.

Police also responded to Hinsdale Central earlier this month for a report of a 17-year-old Willowbrook boy who was truant, according to Hinsdale police.

School officials told police the boy was absent from school on March 5 without the proper permission, according to the police report. The teen was issued a citation.
