Hinsdale Central Homecoming: Busy Week Scheduled

Homecoming Week is underway at Hinsdale Central, where on Monday afternoon the 2012 Homecoming Court was announced during an after-school pep rally.

Monday's rally concluded Day 1 of the special week for Red Devils. After students dress up and attend school and sports events all week, Homecoming 2012 will culminate Saturday with a football game against Hinsdale South and the "A Night in the Windy City" dance.

Monday, Sept. 24

• Dress of the Day: Red Devil's Day Off (Comfiest Clothes)
• 2:40 p.m. — Pep Rally, Homecoming Court announced
• 4:30 p.m. — Girls Tennis vs. Lyons Township

Tuesday, Sept. 25

• Dress of the Day: Chicago Sports Team Day

Wednesday, Sept. 26

• Dress of the Day: Chicago Style on the Mag Mile 
• Homecoming BBQ: Served during all lunch periods in the courtyard.
• 6 p.m. — Girls Volleyball vs. St. Ignatius

Thursday, Sept. 27

• Dress of the Day: North Avenue Beach Day
• 4:30 p.m. — Girls Cross Country vs. York, Lyons Township

Friday, Sept. 28

• Dress of the Day: Red and White Day
• 1:02 p.m. — Pep Rally and Coronation
• 5 p.m. — Boys Soccer vs. Carl Sandburg

Saturday, Sept. 29

• 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. — HHSTA Homecoming Pancake Breakfast
• 9:30 a.m. — Homecoming Parade
• 10 a.m. — Girls Swimming vs. Naperville Central
• 12 p.m. — Boys Football vs. Hinsdale South
• 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.— Homecoming Dance
