Spark That Brain

In recognition of National Alzheimer’s Action Day - Sept. 21 - a representative from the Alzheimer’s Association will present an entertaining program titled, “Spark That Brain,” from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at The Birches Assisted Living, 215 55th St., Clarendon Hills. 

“Spark That Brain” is an interactive program designed for healthy aging adults who are interested in learning more about their brain and memory and who want to be proactive in keeping their memory sharp.

The hour will be fun and motivating and will provide participants information about the warning signs of serious memory problems vs. normal changes in cognition.

During the month of September, the Alzheimer's Association is observing the inaugural World Alzheimer’s Month (WAM). On Sept. 21, Alzheimer’s Action Day (AAD), the Association is asking people to wear purple and to take action in the fight of Alzheimer’s.
