The Clarendon Hills Park District will present its popular "Home Alone" class for boys and girls ages 6-10, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12.  This class will meet at the Clarendon Hills Middle School.  This program is designed for children that stay home alone for brief periods of time or who wish to babysit for other families.  Topics covered include home safety, handling emergencies, use of keys, house rules and dealing with strangers.  An American Red Cross instructor teaches this class.  Cost of this program is $35.00 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $44.00 for boys and girls living in nearby communities.  Advance registration at the Community Center, 315 Chicago Avenue, is required.

Congratulations to Dr. Jane Dillon, who as her patient while in private practice, I have known to beRead More a caring, skilled, and excellent doctor when I had serious medical problems related to my ears. While her new position will help many, I personally will miss her being in private practice.
