The founder of CHIP (Complete Health Improvement Program) is coming to Hinsdale. "Eat More, Weigh Less" will be presented b Dr. Hans Diehl on Sunday, September 9, at 2 p.m. at The Community House, 415 W. Eighth Street, Hinsdale.
The event is combined with a screening of the highly-acclaimed movie, "Forks Over Knives." The movie reinforces Dr. Diehl's CHIP program as both share research showing that most degenerative diseases that afflict Americans can be prevented, controlled, or even reversed by better living through good diet, exercise, sufficient rest, and sound mental health. Dr. Diehl will explain how CHIP helps people get healthy by choice and provides long-term support through an alumni group. The premise of the movie is that what we eat is often more powerful and effective than surgery or medicine. Real-life patients are interviewed, including Past President Bill Clinton.
Join us to gain knowledge of concepts you can apply to your daily life to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible.
Healthy refreshments will be served. Registration is preferred. Call 630-403-8095 or go to www.hinsdaleCHIP.hsdac.org.
At the close of the session, you may sign up for the next CHIP class from September 23 to October 28.
