This is a committed support group that meets each Wednesday for 8 weeks.

*The group will not meet on August 15*

A cancer diagnosis can trigger questions about values, identity and faith. We may find ourselves seeking solace, a greater sense of purpose, or a path for deepening (or finding) our sense of the sacred. Developing spiritual well-being increases coping, acceptance, and spiritual awareness. This program explores spiritual themes that can be found universally across cultures and spiritual traditions such as surrender and forgiveness, the power of ritual, meditation and prayer, hope and faith, healing verses curing, and community and connection to begin an individualized personal vision for enhancing spiritual well-being. Each week, a presentation on a specific theme will be provided followed by an experiential exercise and facilitated discussion. Participants will be encouraged to keep a journal.

Congratulations to Dr. Jane Dillon, who as her patient while in private practice, I have known to beRead More a caring, skilled, and excellent doctor when I had serious medical problems related to my ears. While her new position will help many, I personally will miss her being in private practice.
