District 181 Thanks Students Staff During 'Facility Challenges' at HMS

The following is a message from Community Consolidated School District 181:

The attached photo is a very memorable one from this school year — It includes most of the staff from both CHMS and HMS and was taken while the split schedule was in place.

The administration, teachers and staff of Community Consolidated School District 181 share their gratitude with the District community for supporting staff and students during the facility challenges at Hinsdale Middle School this winter.

"We want to recognize the many people who helped both on site and behind the scenes throughout the last several weeks," District representatives noted. "We specially recognize the Villages, Police Departments and Fire Departments of Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills, who continue to be outstanding partners for District 181. Additionally, students' families were understanding and patient as we worked to provide the best possible educational environment. As we consider the next steps in addressing the facility needs of Hinsdale Middle School, we thank the community for their continued support."
