District 181 Publishes Report on 2010-11 School Year

The following is a release from Community Consolidated School District 181:

All Community Consolidated School District 181 residents should be receiving a copy of the 2010-11 school year annual report. The publication was sent via bulk mail to all postal patrons on July 18 and began arriving in homes July 19. The 16-page publication features news articles about the district’s test scores, finances, students and staff. It also contains photo highlights of the 2010-11 school year, a letter from Board of Education President Michael Nelson, the names of the Ambassador of Excellence award winners, and coverage of the district’s foundation. Donations from several sponsors were applied toward printing and mailing costs. Sponsors include: Clarendon Hills Bank, Kramer Foods, Fred Glinke Plumbing and Heating and the District 181 Foundation.

There are two carrier routes that cover a small number of District 181 residents while the majority of the route covers non-District 181 residents. To save printing costs, those two carrier routes were eliminated; however the small number of residents that may not receive the report through their carrier may pick up a copy at Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Willowbrook, Burr Ridge and Oak Brook village halls, The Community House, and Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills public libraries. Extra copies of the report are available in all District 181 school offices and the Administration Center, 6010 S. Elm Street, Burr Ridge.
