School will be back in session at Hinsdale Central, Hinsdale South and all District 181 elementary and middle schools Wednesday.

"Hinsdale Township High School District 86 schools and offices will be open on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the regular start time," a message on District 86's website states.

District 181 communications director Bridget McGuiggan confirmed her district's schools also will re-open in an email to Patch.

Students stayed home Monday and Tuesday due to the extreme cold.
