D181 Cancels 2nd Straight School Day
There will be no school or after-school activities Tuesday for District 181 students.
Winter break continues for Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills kids.
School will not be in session at District 181 schools Tuesday due to the extreme cold, according to a release from communications director Bridget McGuiggan.
"We have continued to closely monitor the extreme cold temperatures in our area and have determined that due to the inclement weather, our schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 7," McGuiggan's release states. "Additionally, school-sponsored after-school activities and athletics are also canceled."

School was also canceled Monday, drawing out a winter break that began after school got out on Friday, Dec. 20.
