Class of 2012's Graduation Week Underway at Hinsdale Central

It seems like yesterday that last August. Where does the time go?

Finals for seniors wrap up during the first two periods of class Wednesday morning. Here's what else is going on for the Class of 2012 during graduation week:

Wednesday:

• Graduation Rehearsal: Hinsdale Central auditorium, 10 a.m.
• Senior Picnic: Grant Street Field, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Thursday:

• Graduation Commencement: Dickinson Field, 7 p.m.

The following information was sent out in a letter to families of graduates by Hinsdale Central:

Graduation is the culminating event of your high school experience and a highlight of our end-of-the-year activities. As you prepare for commencement please be aware of the following guidelines: 

1. If you choose to participate in the commencement exercise, you must attend the mandatory graduation rehearsal.  

2. Graduation rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30 at 10 a.m. in the auditorium. When seniors leave rehearsal, school will still be in session for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. The only seniors who will be admitted to the building after rehearsal are those making arrangements to clear financial obligations. Lockers must be cleaned out prior to May 31 no seniors will be allowed into the building to clean out their lockers. 

3. For Commencement on Thursday, May 31, seniors are to report to the auditorium at 6:15 p.m.
