Maercker 60 Voters Drop Board President Watkiss
Current board members Lisa Bishop and Patricia Dieball won re-election Tuesday in Maercker School District 60.
Two incumbents and two challengers won election to the Maercker School District 60 Board of Education Tuesday, and the current board president ended up on the outside looking in.
Current board members Lisa Bishop and Patricia Dieball, and newcomers Michael Gombosi and Arthur Andersen were the top four finishers Tuesday in the District 60 race. Board President Paul Watkiss and challenger Pradeep Tekkey finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
According to unofficial results, Bishop led all candidates with 818 votes received. Dieball had 741, Gombosi had 711, and Andersen had 637.
