Woman Caught With Marijuana Near Parents' Home: Police Blotter

Clarendon Hills police reports, Aug. 1

THURSDAY, AUG. 1 

Cannabis Possession

Amy Johnson, 42, of the 500 block of Creekwood, Westmont, was charged with cannabis possession less than 30 grams. A family member reported that they thought she had drugs on her, according to police. Officers responded at 11:49 a.m. to the 200 block of Columbine Drive where her parents live. Cannabis was retrieved from Johnson's vehicle, police said.

Young Egger Gets Away 

Someone at 12:52 a.m. reported that a male egged the front door and lawn furniture on the 100 block of Tuttle Avenue. An officer was also flagged down by a man, who was in his car searching the area. A heavy set male juvenile was last seen running from Tuttle towards Oxford Avenue, according to police. The officer checked Prospect Park and found a red Diamondback mountain bike laying in the playground. The officer took the bike and did a separate bike found report. Police were unable to locate the juvenile. No damage was found on the person's property, according to a report.
