Viewfinder: Firefighter Training Provides Learning Opportunity

Donated house sees its final use as a fire training facility.

On Saturday, May 21, firefighters from Hinsdale, , Tri-State, Western Springs, Pleasantville and Oak Brook all underwent training at the same house that was used for a public demonstration Tuesday, May 17 to demonstrate the importance of indoor sprinklers.

The house is located at 411 W. Glendale Ave. in Hinsdale and was demolished the day after the training evolutions took place.
