Utility Pole Hit-and-Run

A driver hit and caused minor damage to a utility pole in the 300 block of Harris Avenue, police said. The incident was reported at 8:14 a.m.

UPS Package Stolen

A UPS package delivered to a resident in the 0-10 block of Walker Avenue was stolen while it sat in the entry way of the home on Jan. 4, police said. The package contained a $150 car tail light.

Teen Found with Pot

Charges are pending against a 17-year-old Hinsdale boy who was found to be in possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop for improper lane usage on Route 83 near Chicago Avenue at 1:25 a.m., police said.

An unidentified pill was also found in the vehicle, and police said charges against the juvenile are pending the results of a test to determine what the pill is.

FRIDAY, JAN. 18

Fence Near Tracy's Damaged

Someone did $250 in damage to a fence in the 400 block of Purdy Lane near Tracy's Tavern, police said. The damage was reported at 9:03 a.m.

Suspended License

Regina K. Newson, 38, of the 16800 block of Sheridans Trail, Orland Park, was charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Adams Street at 1:47 p.m., police said. She was released to appear in court.
